Innovation for Facility Management
We integrate the development skills of IT systems for the management and maintenance of buildings with digital technologies in the construction sector.
The TOL Group, based in Heidelberg, Ingolstadt, Munich and Bolzano, develops IT systems for CAFM/CMMS, GIS and CAD solutions. Our main objective is to develop systems for the management of processes for the design, management, administration and maintenance of physical assets. Our solutions take into account all kinds of instrumental goods: from buildings with their equipment, to technical systems, buildings and distribution networks, to open areas and external systems. We are one of the few companies with interdisciplinary expertise in facility, utility and infrastructure management and a comprehensive portfolio of solutions.
Combining science, economics and, through applied research, succeeding in the task of creating innovation: this is the aim of Fraunhofer Italia, an independent foreign company of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Since 2009, the Bolzano based institute has been supporting local SMEs in their research and development projects through tailor-made services in the area of Industry 4.0 for manufacturing, crafts and construction. Our interdisciplinary teams are divided into the fields of research of Automation and Mechatronics Engineering and Process Engineering in Construction, both supported by the third field of research Business Model Engineering.
